When CoolSculpting® was originally launched it came with one treatment applicator head, which allowed the machine to freeze large chunks of tissue such as lower belly fat or love handles.

Since then, the applicator heads have been redesigned to make them more effective and efficient with regards to body shape. Some treatments can be completed in as little as 35 minutes with the new design, whilst more awkwardly shaped areas – such as the double chin or ‘bra fat’ – can be treated with new custom-designed handpieces.

We have invested in a full stock of all applicator heads, assisting us in the process of customising the treatments specifically to each individual.

As well as the full range of applicator designs, we also have three CoolSculpting® machines which allow us to treat multiple areas simultaneously, quickly, and effectively without the downtime or risks of surgery.

The latest addition to the CoolAdvantage applicator family – the CoolAdvantage Petite™ – is specifically designed to treat the upper arm area in just 35 minutes.

It has been created with two interchangeable contours which safely and effectively treat the unique shape of the upper arms. Due to its small shape and size, it’s also versatile enough to tackle small pockets of fat on other areas of the body too, such as the knees.

It takes a little while for full results to appear since the body needs to go through the process of programmed cell death and elimination of the breakdown products.

You can normally start to see results after around 4 weeks, although it takes up to 4 months to see the full results.

The exact number of treatment cycles really does vary from person to person, according to the size and shape of the individual fat pads.

Generally, the larger the area, and the thicker the fat cells, the more cycles that will be required. At your initial consultation, we will make a number of measurements so we can work out exactly what the best treatment parameters will be to achieve the results you are looking for. As a general guide, the table below gives an estimate of the number that may be required per body area.
